A Teachable Moment Documentary

Every 40 seconds a stroke radically changes the lives of Americans in an instant. These attacks happen at any time to anyone of any age. Told through the eyes of four tenacious strangers, A Teachable Moment examines the signs, occurrences and long, often miraculous, road to recovery stroke survivors face. A call to action for everyone, A Teachable Moment empowers viewers with the knowledge that strokes are preventable, strokes are treatable and strokes are beatable.

I had the great opportunity to help out with this documentary through the Art Direction of the animated segments. We wanted these segments to be informative, so that the audience could walk away better understanding how strokes affect the body and what signs to look for in the event of an emergency. However, we also wanted these animated segments to bring levity to a heavy topic.
